Ranger: In March & May 2007 he was Officer of the month, but the
best of all is that without even knowing it Ranger became a therapy
dog. We were doing a PR program for another 3rd grade class and when
the program was over I let all the children pet Ranger. What I didn’t
know was there was a child in the group that had become very withdrawn
because he had witnessed the death of his brother. No one could get
him out of his shell. Well after our visit to the class the Doctor
called to say thank you because Ranger brought him out of that shell
and now they could not get him to stop talking.
